“Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice... If people all over the world...would do this, it would change the earth.”
William Faulkner

Announcing the Kentucky Civic Education Coalition (KCEC)

We are building a non-partisan coalition of nonprofits, educators, business and community leaders, think tanks, universities, and other partners committed to preparing all students to be informed, engaged participants in civic life. If you support civic education in Kentucky, KCEC is your way to help!   Check out the KCEC page for more information.

TAKE ACTION

The Kentucky Council for the Social Studies believes all individual and organizations should promote social studies education for the betterment of our profession and our citizenry. It is our goal to provide information on legislation or initiatives, provide tips on how to advocate and lift up the profession by recognizing excellent educators and best practices.

Take advantage of the National Council for the Social Studies' Advocacy Tool Kit and find information on national issues and policies.
